"Quran is the Word of Allah"
"Quran is the word of Allah" is the most important hadith. An example can be seen in the following hadith of the Prophet.
'Umar ibn al-Khattab (R.A) said: "There are five things which Allah will not accept from His Messenger: a man who turns away from Him, a man who seeks an excuse from the punishment of Allah, a man who eats the zakaat of the people, a man who eats the zakaat of his dependents, and a man who earns the poverty of his family with his own effort. The Quraan is the word of Allah and whoever turns away from it is one of those who turn away from their Rabb."
The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: "The most beloved to Allah to the pious and the most despised to Allah to the wicked are (Quran and Sunnah) and whoever loved them, liked them, and loved them more than his father and mother, Allah would love him." [Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim]
Muhammad said: "He who kills a soul that Allah has made inviolate, except for harm, then it is as though he has slain all of mankind. And he who saves the life of one, then it is as though he has saved the life of all mankind. And he who gives ransom to someone who has been kidnapped, then it is as though he has offered a ransom for all of mankind. And he who is righteous, then it is as though he has acted with righteousness to all mankind." [Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim]
If Allah loves one more than his father and mother, then he is closer to Allah than the prophets. "Jihad" means to devote oneself entirely for the sake of Allah; a group of Muslims who is trying to spread the Islamic system in a land or to settle there can also be called a Jihad.
